EASI Software Definitions

The following terms are used throughout the discussions of The Right Site software:

Area Rank – An Area Rank display shows how the chosen area compares to other areas within the Study Area.

Area Share – An Area Share display shows the relative share of the chosen area within the entire Study Area.

Centroid – The center of population in a selected geography.

Relative Rank – The rank of an area or variable compared to others within the Study Area.

Significant Variables Report – A special Detailed Report available from the Standard Reports section of reports. This special report is created by The Right Site™ by ranking all variables in the categories selected, according to their EASI Rank. The variables with the highest rank (where 1 is highest) are displayed first.

Study Area – A combination of the selected geography (for instance, Zip Codes) and any filters that have been applied to it.

Summary Report – A Summary Report (or a Tabular Report) provides a list of areas in a specific meaningful sequence, as well as raw data for each area listed. The Summary Report is the best way to quickly see how different areas compare to each other.

User Reports – User Reports are custom reports built with specific variables selected by the user. User Reports can be generated for any combination of variables necessary to describe a specific population or area.
