Drive Time analyses plot the areas in a study based on their drive times from a specific location. In a Ring Study, that location is the center of the ring. In summaries other than Ring Studies, the center will be the population centroid of the first area in the Summary Report.
To create a simple Drive Time analysis where all records fall either inside or outside the limits of a particular drive time, select Basic Drive Time Mode.
To create a more sophisticated Drive Time analysis for up to 5 drive times, as well as factoring in the driving speed, select the Advanced Drive Time Mode.
